What do you really see when you look at someone?
In ‘The Way You See Me’, photographer Mark Redan, together with producer Bregje Wentink, portrays residents of Rotterdam-West alongside their dogs. What starts as a playful and familiar image soon reveals deeper layers of identity, connection, and perception.

Dogs prove to be the perfect bridge — sparking conversations, bringing people together, and dissolving differences. Captured in analog medium-format photography, these encounters feel raw, honest, and timeless.

On Sunday, March 15 at 4:00 PM, we celebrate the official opening of the exhibition. Admission is free and open to everyone — locals, city lovers, and curious visitors alike. This is not just an exhibition, but a moment of meeting, reflection, and shared stories.
